Those of us who produce & distribute media have a responsibility to understand the impact of those actions & the content we create.
In order to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals within Planetary Boundaries, media has the opportunity to:
Accelerate Positive Indirect Impacts:
normalize sustainable lifestyles & attitudes within stories
discuss problems & solutions related to sustainability
find partners to reach goals (e.g. albert & Planet Placement, Green Production Guide & EMA Green Seal, Green Spark Group, Earth Angel)
Accelerate Positive Direct Impacts:
consume less energy & materials
use more renewable energy & materials
produce less waste & emissions
